16° CAMPIONATO MONDIALE HST ALBENA BULGARIA

Si è svolto nel Resort Albena a nord della Bulgaria sul Mar Nero, il sedicesimo Campionato Mondiale HST. Diciannove le nazioni presenti. Bielorussia, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ungheria, Polonia, Germania, Svizzera, Danimarca, Macedonia, Serbia, Croazia, Montenegro, Egitto, Repubblica Ceca, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Austria e Italia. Arrivo il venerdì e registrazione dei partecipanti. Ci siamo spostati ad un albergo vicino per la cerimonia di apertura. Ecco qui la sede dove si sono svolte le cerimonie di apertura e chiusura, le gare e la cena di gala con un grande spettacolo finale.

The 16th HST World Championship was held in the Albena Resort north of Bulgaria on the Black Sea. Nineteen nations present. Belarus, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Egypt, the Czech Republic, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Austria and Italy. Arrival on Friday and registration of participants. We moved to a nearby hotel for the opening ceremony. Here is the venue where the opening and closing ceremonies were held, the competitions and the gala dinner with a great final show. 

Ci si spostava di trecento metri per dormire e mangiare presso l'Hotel Kaliopa. Di fronte all'Hotel il Ristorante self service, all inclusive. E' stata dura rimanere sobri.

We moved three hundred meters to sleep and eat at the Hotel Kaliopa. In front of the Hotel there was a self service restaurant, all inclusive. It was hard to stay sober. 

Sulla via del Mar Nero ne approfittiamo per visitare il Museo di Nicola Tesla a Belgrado. 

On the Black Sea road we take the opportunity to visit the Nicola Tesla Museum in Belgrade.

Nella sfera sono conservate le ceneri di Nicola Tesla. Una guida illustra in inglese tutte le sue invenzioni e mette in funzione alcuni dei suoi strumenti, quello più entusiasmante è quello che fa accendere una moltitudini di neon in mano ai visitatori. All'uscita, dopo la visita, incontriamo il Presidente dell'Associazione Radioamatori Serba Zoran Mladenovic YU1EW che gentilmente ci accompagna alla visita della città.

The ashes of Nicola Tesla are preserved in the sphere. A guide illustrates all his inventions in English and puts some of his tools into operation, the most exciting one is the one that turns on a multitude of neon lights in the hands of visitors. At the exit, after the visit, we meet the President of the Serbian Radio Amateurs Association Zoran Mladenovic YU1EW who kindly accompanies us to visit the city. 

Un grazie a Lyubisa YT3PL che ha organizzato il tutto. Dopo una ricca cena presso un ristorante Serbo ci congediamo e consegniamo a Zoran un regalo da parte di Lyubisa.

Thanks to Lyubisa YT3PL who organized everything. After a rich dinner in a Serbian restaurant, we thanks Zoran and give him a gift from Lyubisa. 

La mattina successiva tappa a Burgas sul Mar Nero. Ci aspettano più di settecento chilometri. Dopo la visita a vari siti storici arriviamo venerdì al Resort Albena all'Hotel Kaliopa. Dopo la registrazione ci rechiamo all'Hotel Dobruja per la cerimonia di apertura del 16° Campionato Mondiale HST.

The next morning we stop in Burgas on the Black Sea. More than seven hundred kilometers await us. After visiting various historical sites, we arrive on Friday at the Albena Resort at the Hotel Kaliopa. After registration we went to the Hotel Dobruja for the opening ceremony of the 16th HST World Championship. 

I seguenti due giorni sono riservati alle gare. Ricezione, Rufz, Morse Runner e Trasmissione. Nella trasmissione i concorrenti hanno a disposizione dieci minuti per le tre prove: Text, Figures e Mix. Le tre prove durano un minuto, il tempo rimanente è per il riscaldamento. Nei dieci minuti i concorrenti possono effettuare una prova di recupero in più a scelta, la concorrente Bielorussa ha scelto Figures, che non era la peggiore delle tre. Probabilmente voleva battere il record mondiale, praticamente in un minuto ha battuto 211 numeri e il record è 218.

The following two days are reserved for competitions. Reception, Rufz, Morse Runner and Transmission. In the transmission, competitors have ten minutes for the three tests: Text, Figures and Mix. The three tests must done in one minute each, the reamaining time for practice. In the ten minutes the competitors can perform an extra recovery test of their choice, the Belarusian young girl competitor chose Figures, which was not the worst of the three tests. She probably wanted to beat the world record, practically in one minute she beat 211 numbers and the record is 218. 

Dopo la prime due giornate, al termine delle prove, viene effettuata la premiazione dei primi tre di ogni categoria, (sono sette le categorie, divise in uomini, donne e per età). Comunque dopo i primi i tre che ottengono le medaglie, anche il quarto e quinto ricevono un attestato di piazzamento.

After the first two days, at the end of the tests, the first three of each category are awarded (there are seven categories, divided into men, women and by age). However, after the first three winners of the medals, the fourth and fifth also receive a placement certificate. 

Il quarto giorno è il giorno dedicato al Tour turistico, questa volta è stata la volta del sito storico di Kaliakra, a nord quasi al confine con la Romania.

The fourth day is dedicated to the tourist tour. This year with a bus the group was taken to the historical site of Kaliakra, in the north part of Bulgaria near the border with Romania. 

La sera premiazione finale degli over all e delle squadre prime classificate. Vince come al solito la Bielorussia, seconda la Russia e terza la Romania. Dopo la premiazione, cena di gala con spettacoli. Si avvicendano sul palco,  venti ballerini che si esibiscono in una danza tipica locale, poi una brava cantante bulgara che viene da x-factor e un mago veramente bravo. Il disc-jockey tiene viva tutta la compagnia con musica da discoteca. Dopo cena le danze si protraggono fino a tarda notte.  

In the evening the award for the individual winners over all  and for the first classified teams. Belarus wins as usual, Russia second and Romania third. After the award ceremony, gala dinner with shows. Twenty dancers perform on stage, performing a typical local dance, then a good Bulgarian singer who comes from x-factor and a really good magician. The disc jockey keeps the whole company alive with disco music. After dinner the dancing goes on until late at night. 

Ecco la squadra vincente: la  Bielorussa.

The winner Team: Belarus.
